Black Pepper Croutons

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups any bread
Directions
- Remove crusts from bread and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- In a large frying pan, combine the first 4 ingredients over medium heat.
- When hot, remove from heat and add bread cubes. Toss to coat.
- Please the cuves onto a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes. Stir during the baking process a few times. When ready, they should just begin to turn brown.
