Black Magic Cake

This is an adopted recipe that I have not yet tried. The original poster said the following: "A very moist and dark chocolate cake. Best served with no icing, just a spoonful of whipped cream." Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated if anyone tries this recipe.Thanks! Show more

  1. Sift dry ingredients then add oil and eggs.
  2. Alternate milk with chocolate (cocoa and coffee).
  3. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Batter will be very thin.
  5. Bake in a greased tube pan-one that doesn’t come apart because thin batter will leak.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
