Black Beans and Beef

Ingredients
- 500 g beef
- 1 onion
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- 2 cups black beans, presoaked
- 1⁄4 cup red wine
- 1 cup chicken broth (or you can use water if you do not have the broth)
- water (continually add as beans cook down)
- salt
- pepper
Directions
- Saute onion and garlic.
- Brown beef.
- Add black beans , red peppers and spices and wine. Add stock.
- Transfer to slow cooker on high.
- 3. Stir regularly until beans will mash easily.
