Black Bean Spread

Yields: 1 1/3 cups
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups cooked black beans (cooked from dry, or canned, drained)
- 1⁄3 cup sliced leek (white and light green parts only)
- 1⁄3 cup salsa
- 4 sprigs fresh cilantro
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
Directions
- Place all the ingredients in a food processor container fitted with a steel blade.
- Cover and process until smooth.
- *Variation-add fresh chopped or canned jalapeno peppers to taste.
