Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 2⁄3 cup milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions
- preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- mix together dry ingredients.
- cut softened butter evenly into dry ingredients.
- cut butter in evenly.
- add milk.
- roll out dough.
- fold in half.
- roll dough out again.
- stamp round biscuits with a cup.
- bake on an un-greased baking sheet (air bake works well) for 10-12 minutes.
