Biscuit Topped Tuna Bake

This is so good. I make this for my Mother and she just loves it.

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons  vegetable oil
  • 12 cup  chopped onion
  • 12  cups  chopped celery
  • 1 (7 ounce) can tuna
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  condensed cream of potato soup
  • 1 (10 ounce) package  frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen carrots, thawed
  • 34 cup milk
  • 14 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 14 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (7 1/2ounce) can  refrigerator  flakey biscuits

Directions

  1. In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat, saute onion and celery until onion is soft. Add remaining ingredients except biscuits, heat thoroughly.
  2. Transfer mixture to 1 1/2 quart casserole. Arrange biscuits around top edge of dish.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees in oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
