Bff Spinach and Artichoke Dip

My best friend got this recipe from her mom, and it was her party offering staple for a long time. I finally asked her for the recipe after begging and demanding she make it for several of my get-togethers. Now it's my own party offering staple. I always notice that it's one of the first things to disappear, no matter how big the potluck is. Show more

Yields: 4 cups

Directions

  1. Drain spinach; press between layers of paper towels. Squeeze out as much of the water as you can.
  2. Drain and chop artichokes.
  3. Combine spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, and next 4 ingredients, stirring well.
  4. Spoon into lightly greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish; sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
  6. Serve with assorted crackers or bread sticks, or my favorite is tortilla chips.
