Smoky Steak Marinade

Friends of ours invited us over and made steaks using this marinade. It was SO GOOD! We had to have the recipe. Adding other ingredients to it didn't make it better, at least not for us.

Ingredients

• 1  cup  balsamic vinegar
• 1  cup soy sauce
• 1⁄4 cup garlic clove, minced
• 1⁄4 cup honey
• 1⁄4 cup olive oil
• 1  tablespoon ground black pepper
• 2  teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
• 2  teaspoons onion powder
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 1  teaspoon liquid smoke
• 2  pinches cayenne pepper
• 4 1⁄2 lbs  rib eye steaks

Directions

1. Marinate steak in sauce with all ingredients combined overnight. Grill.
