  1. In a saucepan, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink.
  2. Stir in butter until melted.
  3. Sprinkle with flour.
  4. Gradually stir in milk, salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 3 minutes.
  6. Serve over biscuits.
