Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup skim milk
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄4 ounce active dry yeast
- 1 1⁄2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- flour, as needed
Directions
- mix milk water and butter then heat until the mixture reaches 130F.
- add yeast to the milk mixture.
- add flour and mix until thoroughly combined.
- knead for 5 min add flour as needed until the dough is no longer sticky.
- let rise 15 min in 170F oven.
- divide into 6 rolls in muffin pan.
- let rise 15 more minutes
- bake 12 min at 425F.
