Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground ginger (powdered)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup molasses
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3⁄4 cup cheese (optional)
- 1 cup chopped fruit (optional)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
- sift together all the dry ingredients. Flour, powder, soda, salt, ginger.
- Mix all the wet ingredients, egg, milk, molasses, oil.
- mix the wet and dry ingredients until just combined, gently fold in options.
- Bake in muffin tins at 350 till done.
