Best Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 2 cups 100% bran
- 1 cup applesauce
- 4 eggs
- 5 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups boiling water
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups kelloggs all-bran cereal
Directions
- Soak 100% bran in boiling water. Let cool. Cream together applesauce, sugar and eggs. Combine with soaked bran. Mix together milk and vinegar. Add milk mixture alternately with flour, soda and salt. Mix well. Stir in All-Bran. add fruit if desired. fill muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake at 375* for 18-20 minute Check often to decide time for your oven.
