Best Banana Bread

Very moist and works well to bake this in 3 small disposable aluminum bread pans (the ones with the plastic tops on them). Then you can freeze some and eat some now or give to your friends and family as gifts! Show more

  1. Cream shortening and sugar in mixing bowl.
  2. Add eggs and beat for 4 minutes.
  3. Add sifted dry ingredients a little at a time alternating with the milk.
  4. Add lemon juice to mashed bananas and fold into batter.
  5. Add chopped nuts if desired.
  6. Bake in 3 small loaf pans for 40-50 mins at 350*.
