This was in this Sunday's paper; I haven't tried it, but it sounds pretty easy to make. *I'm just guessing that prep time and cook time are the same thing here.* Show more

  1. In a large saucepan, cook the beef, onion, and green pepper until the meat is browned; drain the excess grease.
  2. Stir in all remaining ingredients, except the cheese; bring to a boil.
  3. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Serve hot, topped with cheese, if desired.
