Berry Margarita Pie

I had leftover lime margarita mix that had already been combined with tequila and was looking for something interesting to do with it. I took a look at a lot of different margarita pie recipes and came up with this one. Cooking time is freezing time. Show more

Yields: 1 pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch)  pie crusts
  • 8  ounces frozen strawberries, thawed (or berry of your choice)
  • 4  ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 cup  frozen  margarita mix concentrate, thawed, with a splash of
  •  tequila, added to taste
  • 6  ounces  frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

  1. Prepare pie crust as directed on package.
  2. Blend strawberries, cream cheese, and margarita mix concentrate until well blended.
  3. Pour into a bowl and fold in whipped topping.
  4. Pour into pie crust.
  5. Cover and freeze 1-2 hours, or until firm.
  6. Let stand briefly before slicing and serving.
