Ben & Jerry's Sweet Cream Base

This is the most popular of the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream bases. It holds up well in a home freezer, and it's easy! • Yields: 1 quart

Ingredients

• 2  eggs
• 3⁄4 cup sugar
• 2  cups heavy cream or 2  cups  whipping cream
• 1  cup milk

Directions

1. Whisk eggs for 1 to 2 minutes, until fluffy and light.
2. Gradually whisk in sugar, then continue until fully blended, about a minute more.
3. Mix in cream and milk and whisk to blend.
