Beer Bread

Ingredients
- 2 3⁄4 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 cup flax seed (ground)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 12 ounces beer, at room temperature
Directions
- Mix all the dry ingredients.
- Add oil and beer.
- Stir until dough is just mixed.
- Put dough in a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes or until nicely browned. Remove from oven and let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cool some more.
