Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups rice
- 1 lb stew meat or 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb sirloin steak
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 medium red onion, minced
- 4 large mushrooms, sliced
- 2 (10 1/2ounce) cans beef consomme
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic cloves
- 2 medium tomatoes, cubed
- 1⁄2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
Directions
- Rice.
- Wash rice under warm water until water is clear. have an inch of water from top of rice, add a table spoon of vegetable oil, cover and cook.
- Stroganoff.
- cook your meat (I prefer the sirloin steak) though not all the way through and sprinkle your flower on, this will thicken the dish. sautee your onion and mushroom with your meat.
- add the beef consume, garlic, tomatoes, and dijon mustard, let simmer until meat is tender.
- add your sour cream and stir until well mixed.
- serve over rice or egg noodles.
