Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat
- 3 cups sliced carrots
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 2 (14 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 whole clove
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Place beef in slow cooker. Add carrots, onion, celery and tomatoes.
- Stir in tapioca, clove, bay leaves, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.
- Remove from slow cooker and allow to cool. Place in freezer bag. Label and freeze.
- To serve: thaw. Heat until hot and bubbly. Serve with bread.
