Beef and Mushroom Stew

Ingredients
- 1 lb lean beef round steak, cubed
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1⁄2 cup dry white wine
- 8 ounces mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup cold water
- salt and pepper
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and kept warm
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except cornstarch, water, salt and pepper in slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
- Turn heat to high and cook 10 minutes; stir in combined cornstarch and water, stirring 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve over noodles.
