Beef and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients
- 8 ounces wide egg noodles, prepared according to package
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown ground beef and minced garlic. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and sugar to beef mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and onion, mixing well.
- In prepared 3 quart casserole dish, layer 1/2 of noodles, 1/2 cheese mixture, then 1/2 meat mixture. Repeat the layers. Spread grated cheese on top of the last layer.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
