Beef and Cheese Casserole

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef.
  2. Add garlic and onion and cook until onion is translucent.
  3. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and olives and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
  4. Cook noodles according to package directions, drain and let cool.
  5. In separate bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream and green onions.
  6. Spray 9x13 casserole dish with cooking spray.
  7. Layer ingredients alternating with sauce, noodles, cheddar cheese and dollops of cream cheese/sour cream mixture.
  8. Finish with a layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 45 minutes.
  10. Uncover and continue to bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  11. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
