BBQ Sauce With Coke !!

This is the BEST !!!My mother-in-law gave me a copy of this 30 years ago. She has since passed but I was lucky to have gotten the recipe from her. It is great on chicken or spareribs, anything for that matter.

• Serves: 4-6
• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

• 2  medium onions, chopped
• 3⁄4 cup  Coke
• 3⁄4 cup ketchup
• 2  tablespoons vinegar
• 2  tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in medium sauce pan, bring to boil then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover pan and cook stiring occasionally for 1 hour.
2. This can be stored in a glass jar and kept in the fridge.
