BBQ Beans and Spam

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons canola oil
  • 13 cup  finely chopped  white onion
  • 6  ounces  diced  Spam
  • 1 (15 ounce) can  pork and beans, drained
  • 12-34 cup barbecue sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory & Brown Sugar)

Directions

  1. In a medium pan over medium heat sauté onions in oil until slightly soft.
  2. Add diced Spam and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Then add beans and BBQ sauce, stirring until well blended.
  4. Turn heat down to simmer until thickened,stirring occasionally.
  5. If desired serve over biscuits.
