BBQ Avocado and Ginger Prawns

Ingredients

  • 34 cup  extra virgin avocado oil
  • 1  large lemon, juice of
  • 13 cup soy sauce
  • 2  tablespoons honey
  • 3  garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2  teaspoons  grated ginger
  • 1  teaspoon  ready-to-use baked pizza crust, ground marjorum
  • 1  kg  fresh  prawns (2.2 lbs.) or 1  kg large shrimp, shelled and deveined (2.2 lbs.)
  • 1  lemon, quartered

Directions

  1. Mix the avocado oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, crushed garlic, ginger and marjoram in a bowl, then add the prawns and stir well. Cover and place in a refrigerator for 24 hours, turning occasionally.
  2. Thread prawns onto skewers and cook over barbeque, brushing with avocado oil. Serve with lemon wedges for garnish.
