Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1⁄2 tablespoon shallot, finely minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup champagne vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
- 1⁄4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1⁄4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
Directions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the mustard, shallots, and salt.
- Slowly whisk in the vinegar, lemon juice, and olive oil until the mixture is emulsified.
- Stir in the basil, cover, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
