Basic Stir-fry Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups chicken broth or 2 1⁄2 cups vegetable broth
- 1⁄2 cup cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1⁄2 cup dry sherry or 1⁄2 cup white wine
- 1⁄4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground red pepper or 1⁄4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart mason jar with a tight fitting lid.
- Shake well and store in the fridge.
