Basic Sourdough Bread

Found this recipe on another site recently. I have been using Bergy's Sour Dough Starter #13750. Excellent starter and this is a delicious recipe for the bread machine. Makes a 1-1/2# loaf.

• Serves: 12
• Yields: 1 loaf

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄4 cups  sourdough starter
• 1⁄3 cup warm water
• 1  tablespoon butter
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 3  cups bread flour
• 1  tablespoon sugar
• 2  teaspoons  yeast

Directions

1. Add all ingredients to bread machine pan in the order specified by your directions. Set to white bread cycle.
2. Cooking time depends on your machine, my machine is 4 hours.
