Basic Meatballs

Yields: 10-16 meatballs
Ingredients
- 1⁄3 lb ground veal
- 1⁄3 lb ground pork
- 1⁄3 lb ground beef
- 1⁄2 red onion
- 3 -4 garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 cup parsley
- 1⁄2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- salt
- pepper
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
Directions
- 1) Preheat oven to 400°F.
- 2) Mince (very, very fine) onion, garlic and parsley.
- 3) Use hands to mix ground meats, minced onion, minced garlic, minced parsley, bread crumbs and egg.
- 4) Add pinch of salt and black pepper.
- 5) Use hands to roll meatballs into 1/2 inch to 1 inch in diameter (whatever your preference). Put rolled meatballs into 9x13 baking pan.
- 6) Cover meatballs with sauce (you can use homemade, but jarred works just fine).
- 7) Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
