Barb's Hot Chicken Salad

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts (chopped)
- 1 (12 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 (2 ounce) jar pimientos (optional)
- 1 1⁄2 cups Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 (6 ounce) can french's French fried onion rings (crumbled)
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 (6 ounce) package toasted slivered almonds
Directions
- Mix everything (except onions and cheese) together, and spread into a buttered or sprayed 9" x 13" dish.
- Top with cheese, then crumbled onions.
- Bake at 350-degrees for 30 minutes.
