Barbecue Style Spanish Rice

Ingredients
- 1 (14 1/2ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup quick-cooking rice
- 1⁄2 cup finely chopped green pepper
- 1⁄4 cup minced onion
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano, crushed
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions
- In a heavy 8 inch skillet combine all ingredients, stir to combine and dot mixture with butter.
- Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to simmer.
- After 20 - 25 minutes fluff rice with a fork and serve.
