Barbecue Recipes Marinade for Not-So-Tender Meat

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup lemon juice
• 1⁄2 cup  salad oil
• 1  medium onion, chopped
• 2  tablespoons  minced celery
• 1⁄4 teaspoon thyme
• 1⁄4 teaspoon oregano
• 1  garlic clove, minced
•  salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

1. Combine ingredients and mix well. Marinate for 8 hours or overnight. Improves that not-so-tender piece of meat.
