Barbecue Meatballs and Rice

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
- 1⁄4 cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 cups ketchup
- 16 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons liquid smoke
Directions
- Mix the beef, milk, oats, pepper, garlic powder, egg, chopped onion, salt and chili powder together.
- Form into 1 inch balls. (I use my cookie scoop-like a small ice cream scoop).
- Place in 9 x 13 pan.
- Mix the ketchup, tomato sauce,brown sugar and liquid smoke together.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Cover pan with foil.
- Cook for 45 minutes in a 350 oven.
- Take the foil off and cook 15 minutes longer.
- Serve with rice.
