Bananas in Coconut Cream

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups coconut milk
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons sugar
- salt
- 6 large bananas, peeled and sliced diagonally about 3/4 inch thick
- ice cream or whipped cream, to serve
Directions
- Heat the coconut milk in a small saucepan and add the sugar and salt. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the banana slices. Bring back to a boil for a few seconds to coat the bananas. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
