Banana Split Pie

My Mom's recipe. Cooking time is chilling time.

  1. To prepare crust: Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Butter a 9 inch pie pan. Combine graham crackers and sugar. Add margarine; mix well. Press into bottom and sides of prepared pie plate. Bake 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  2. To prepare filling: Combine pudding mix and milk. Beat 1 minute or until thickened. Beat in 2 cups whipped topping until well combined. Fold in bananas. Pour into cooled crust. Top with pineapples and cherries. Spread remaining 1 cup whipped topping over cherries and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Top with chopped nuts if desired. Chill 4-5 hours or until firm.
