Banana Sour Cream Bread

This came from Cooks.com when I googled banana sour cream bread and I modified it by using 1/2 C butter and 1 C sugar. I used 3 medium very ripe bananas. It was very moist and had a nice fluffy texture. I also added about 3/4 cup of chopped walnuts. This bread freezes very well. Show more

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, beating well after each one.
  4. Add mashed bananas.
  5. Add the sifted dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream.
  6. Pour into 2 greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
