Banana Pineapple Punch

This was served at my daughters baby shower, her MIL made it and it was fantastic! Even great the next day (we took the leftovers home). Easy to make ahead and have in the freezer for unexpected guests. Show more

Serves: 30

Yields: 2 gallons

Ingredients

  • 6  cups water
  • 4  cups sugar
  • 1 (46 ounce) can  pineapple juice
  • 1 (12 ounce) can  , frozen orange juice- thawed
  • 3  lemons, juice of
  • 5  bananas, mashed
  • 2  liters  soda  Sprite or 2  liters  diet Sprite

Directions

  1. On stovetop, heat sugar in water until fully dissolved. Let cool.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except the soda and mix well. Freeze this mixture overnight. Be sure to pour it into something you can get it out of easily while still in frozen state. I use quart or gallon size freezer bags.
  3. When ready to use - allow mixture to thaw a couple hours prior to serving. Place in punch bowl and add the bottle of soda. Serve and enjoy!
