Banana Oat Bread (Bread Machine)

Hearty, moist, sweet bread. I was experimenting to find a good alternative to banana quick bread that was healthier and I could make in my bread machine. The oats add such a wonderful texture! I like it, hopefully you will, too!

• Yields: 1 Pound Loaf

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup water
• 2  tablespoons olive oil
• 4 -5  mashed bananas
• 2  tablespoons honey
• 3  cups rolled oats
• 2 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1  teaspoon salt
• 2  teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions

1. Follow bread machine instructions for order of ingredients, only MAKE SURE you add the mashed bananas as a LIQUID (with the water, honey, and oil).
2. Set bread machine on SWEET setting, light crust.
