Banana Nut Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or Splenda)
- 1⁄2 banana
- 2 tablespoons walnuts
- 1⁄3 cup milk
Directions
- Add salt to water. Bring water to boiling point and add oats. Boil for one minute. Remove and pour into serving bowl. (If using old fashioned oats use 3/4 cup of oats and 1 1/2 cups water. Boil for 5 minutes.)
- Top oats with brown sugar, sliced banana and walnuts. Pour milk over oatmeal. (May use more milk if preferred.).
