Banana Muffins

Ingredients
- 5 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon butter or 1⁄2 teaspoon margarine, softened
- 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, chopped 1 1/2 cups flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients except flour.
- Gradually add flour, stirring lightly.
- Pour into greased muffin tins and bake 15 - 20 minutes.
- or until golden brown.
- Yields 2 dozen large muffins.
