- Immediately add the lemon juice to the mashed bananas.
- Separate the eggs.
- Boil water, as specified on the package and prepare per instructions.
- Add bananas to gelatin.
- Add eggs yolk to sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Slowly add egg mixture to gelatin mixture in a double boiler over boiling water stirring continuously.
- Continue heating until the egg sugar mix dissolved completely in the gelatin mixture. Remove from heat and cool.
- Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.
- When gelatin is just beginning to set, fold in the stiff egg whites.
- Pour into a mold and chill until set.
- Nice with a bit of whipped cream.
