Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients
- 3 -4 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 3⁄4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3⁄4 cup white flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 5 1⁄2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Melt butter.
- In a good sized mixing bowl, blend together bananas, sugar, egg and flour.
- Mix in baking soda, baking powder, and melted butter.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Baked in lined muffin tins at 375 degrees for 12-20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Check after 12 minutes to prevent muffins from over baking.
