Banana Bread - Half the Fat & Sugar, No Nuts

I tweaked my traditional banana bread recipe to come up with this one. My kids & hubby love it right out of the oven. It is quite moist with the addition of applesauce. Right before baking I sprinkle the top with "Sugar in the Raw" turbinado sugar, it gives the bread a nice crunchy topping. Use the ripest bananas you have for best results! Show more
