Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄3 cup margarine
- 2⁄3 cup sugar
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1 cup well mashed banana
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Blend together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a large bowl cream margarine, gradually adding in sugar.
- Add eggs and combine well.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with mashed bananas, beating until combined after each addition.
- Pour into greased 9x5" loaf pan.
- Let stand for 20 minutes.
- Bake for 50 to 55 minutes.
- *Forbanana nut bread add pecans to the dry ingredients.
