Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups bananas, mashed
- 2 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, vanilla, milk, and bananas and mix together.
- Add all dry ingredients to batter and mix until the batter is fairly smooth.
- Pour batter into a well greased loaf pan and sprinkle white sugar on the top.
- Bake at 350F for 50-55 minutes.
- When it is done a knife inserted in the middle should come out clean.
