Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 -3 ripe bananas (2 if large)
- 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
Directions
- Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and the salt together.
- Cream the butter and sugar together.
- Mash bananas until there are no large chunks.
- Add eggs, mashed bananas, buttermilk to the butter and sugar mixture and mix together.
- Add to flour mixture alternately.
- When well blended, pour into a greased bread pan and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
