Banana Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Sift and measure flour.
  3. Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg. Add brown sugar and bran.
  4. Beat egg into mashed banana, then combine with remaining liquid ingredients.
  5. Combine with dry ingredients with a few swift strokes.
  6. Fill lined muffin tins 2/3 full.
  7. Bake at 400F, 25-30 minutes.
