Banana Berry Jam

Yields: 4 pints
Ingredients
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries, chopped (3 cups)
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 7 cups sugar
- 2 cups mashed bananas
- liquid fruit pectin
Directions
- Combine cranberries and water in a large saucepan. Simmer, covered, 10
- minutes. Add sugar and banana.
- Boil hard 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Stir in pectin. Skim off foam.
- Spoon into prepared half pint jars leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
- Wipe jars, adjust lids. Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Adjust time according to your altitude.
