Bambooshay Nuts

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
- 8 cups whole dry roasted peanuts
- 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon hot red pepper flakes
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
Directions
- Heat oil in large skillet.
- Add the peanuts and 1 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat, constantly stirring until nuts are golden brown and sugar has carmelized - about3-4 minutes.
- Remove nuts to a large bowl.
- Add cumin and pepper flakes.
- Toss to distribute seasonings.
- Let cool,then toss with remaining sugar.
- Serve immediately, or let cool and store tightly covered.
