  1. In a 1 1/2 quart saucepan, combine brown sugar, syrup, butter and salt, cook until butter melts, cook another 5 minute Without stirring.
  2. cook until it turns a caramel color, remove from heat, stir in soda and vanilla.
  3. pour over popper corn that's been spread on a cookie sheet, stir to coat.
  4. bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 min., stir, bake another 5 to 10 minute.
  5. cool , place in a large bowl.
  6. enjoy.
